Just 27 km west of Split, Trogir is easily reached by local bus and ferries run to the nearby Čiovo island and the Šolta archipelago. The best months to visit Trogir are April, May, June, September, October. In peak season (July–August) prices are at their highest and accommodation books up weeks in advance.
