Ultra Europe 2026 at Park Mladeži, Split — 100,000+ daily attendees, world's top DJs, Resistance stage for underground techno. July 10–12, 2026. Tickets and complete guide.
Ultra Europe is one of the largest and most watched electronic music festivals on the planet — a three-day event held at Park Mladeži in Split that draws over 100,000 attendees per day from across the world to the breathtaking backdrop of Croatia's second city. As the European edition of the global Ultra Music Festival franchise (originating in Miami in 1999), Ultra Europe brings the full spectacle of the world's most commercially powerful dance music event to the Dalmatian coast — extraordinary production values, a line-up of the genre's most globally celebrated artists, and a setting — the ancient city of Split, the Adriatic coastline — that no other major festival destination can match.
The Main Stage & RESISTANCE
Ultra Europe's main stage is one of the largest temporary stages ever constructed — a massive LED production featuring elaborate set changes and visual effects that turn each headliner's set into a fully staged event rather than simply a DJ performance. Past headliners have included Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Marshmello, Steve Aoki, Armin van Buuren, and Eric Prydz. The RESISTANCE stage, launched in 2017, programmes underground and melodic techno — Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, Sasha & John Digweed — and has become many festival regulars' primary reason for attending, representing a genuine commitment to deeper electronic music within the broader Ultra entertainment complex.
Ultra Week: The Full Experience
Ultra Europe is just the anchor event of what has become known as "Ultra Week" — a broader series of events across Dalmatia in the days before and after the main festival. Pool parties at Split hotels, yacht parties along the coast, boat events between Split and Hvar, and special club nights keep the party going for an extended week. Hvar island, 1.5 hours from Split by catamaran, has become a central node in the Ultra Week experience, with multiple venues hosting official Ultra events.
Split: Beyond the Festival
Split is one of the most remarkable cities in Europe — built around and within the enormous 3rd-century palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, whose walls and towers still stand as the skeleton of the modern city. The UNESCO-listed Old Town within the palace walls contains restaurants, cafés, museums, and lived-in apartments — a palimpsest of 1,700 years of continuous habitation. Ultra Week gives hundreds of thousands of visitors their first encounter with this extraordinary city; many return off-season specifically because of what they discovered during the festival. Pair with the Split Summer Festival (classical music inside the palace, July–August) for a very different take on Split's cultural life.
