Outlook Origins is the boutique incarnation of the legendary Outlook Festival — the bass-music gathering that ran for a decade at Pula's Fort Punta Christo and became one of the most acclaimed and culturally significant electronic music events in Europe. The Origins format, at The Garden Resort in Tisno, brings the core of what made Outlook great — the community, the music, the Adriatic setting — into a more intimate, focused format that prioritises depth over scale.
What Is Outlook?
Outlook Festival built its reputation as the world's premier celebration of bass-influenced electronic music — encompassing dubstep, jungle, drum & bass, dub, reggae, dancehall, grime, and the broader spectrum of bass-heavy club music. The festival was particularly celebrated for its late-night acoustic stage, where live dub and reggae performances created an almost ritualistic late-night atmosphere that became legendary among bass music fans.
Outlook Origins at The Garden
The Garden Resort in Tisno provides an intimate alternative to the larger Fort Punta Christo setting. The Origins concept distills the Outlook spirit into a five-day event focused on the community's most dedicated members — boat parties, sunrise sets, afternoon swimming, and nightly music that runs from dusk to dawn. The Dalmatian coast provides the perfect backdrop: the warm sea, the summer stars, and the intimate resort scale ensure that the atmosphere feels more like a gathering of like-minded music lovers than a commercial festival.
The Tisno Festival Ecosystem
Tisno has become Croatia's most concentrated boutique festival destination over the past 15 years, with The Garden Resort hosting a series of world-class events from late June through August. Outlook Origins sits within a summer that also includes Love International Festival, Defected Croatia, and Dekmantel Selectors. For bass music fans, Outlook Origins is the Tisno summer's essential event — but combining it with one of the surrounding festivals for an extended Dalmatian stay is an increasingly popular approach.
