Živogošće – Reisgids Kroatië

A small village on the southern Makarska Riviera between Podgora and Igrane, Živogošće has a sheltered pebble beach, a small harbour and direct views toward the island of Hvar across the Hvar channel. The village has an old Franciscan monastery from 1614 and a quiet, unspoilt character. It is divided into three hamlets — Blato, Mala Duba and Porat.
