Vrana – Reisgids Kroatië

A village beside Croatia's largest natural freshwater lake, Vrana Lake is a special ornitological reserve hosting over 200 bird species including the rare Dalmatian pelican. The lake is separated from the Adriatic by a narrow coastal strip and the entire area is a nature park. Cycling the perimeter of the lake is one of the finest flat cycling routes in Dalmatia.

Vrana ligt in Kroatië, aan de Adriatische kust. Beste maanden om te bezoeken: April, May, June, September, October. Om de drukte van het hoogseizoen (juli–augustus) te vermijden, kies je beter voor mei–juni of september–oktober — de zee is nog warm, de prijzen zijn lager en de attracties minder druk.
