Trsteno – Reisgids Kroatië

A village 18 km northwest of Dubrovnik famous for the Trsteno Arboretum — one of the oldest and most remarkable botanical gardens in Croatia, established by the Gozze noble family in the 15th century. The garden contains ancient plane trees (some over 500 years old), a Renaissance fountain and a spectacular sea view terrace. Used as filming location for Game of Thrones.
