Koločep – Reisgids Kroatië

The smallest and closest of the three inhabited Elaphite islands to Dubrovnik, Koločep is car-free and can be reached by regular ferry in 20 minutes. The island has two villages — Donje Čelo and Gornje Čelo — connected by a footpath through dense subtropical vegetation including orange groves, palms and centuries-old trees. The beaches are excellent.

The beaches are excellent. Koločep ligt in Kroatië, aan de Adriatische kust. Beste maanden om te bezoeken: May, June, July, August, September. Om de drukte van het hoogseizoen (juli–augustus) te vermijden, kies je beter voor mei–juni of september–oktober — de zee is nog warm, de prijzen zijn lager en de attracties minder druk.
