Dimensions Festival is a five-day gathering at The Garden Resort in Tisno that has built one of the most devoted communities in European electronic music over the course of more than a decade. The festival's musical range spans bass music, dubstep, drum & bass, dub, reggae, and electronic experimentation — programming that draws from the same creative lineage as Outlook Origins while finding its own distinctive curatorial voice. The 2026 edition is expected to be a landmark celebration as the festival approaches its final chapter in Croatia.
Musical Identity
Dimensions occupies a distinctive position in the electronic music landscape: genuinely bass-focused but with a breadth that extends from the spiritual dub and reggae traditions through contemporary club music, ambient electronic, and the harder end of the drum & bass spectrum. The acoustic stage — where dub sound systems, live reggae bands, and experimental electronic artists perform — is Dimensions' most celebrated and unique feature, creating a late-night atmosphere that has no real equivalent in European festival culture. Past acoustic stage performers have included Iration Steppas, Jah Shaka, Scientist, and various dubstep and jungle luminaries performing with live musicians.
The Garden Resort Setting
The Garden Resort in Tisno provides the perfect environment: a terraced clifftop site with the main stage cantilevered over the Dalmatian sea, a private beach for daytime swimming between sets, boat party sessions on the Murter channel, and the late-night intimacy of the Barbarella stage that becomes the acoustic stage's home. Late August in Tisno brings a subtly seasonal quality — cooler nights, a hint of autumn in the mountain air above the coast, and a reflective atmosphere that suits Dimensions' contemplative musical programme. The Tisno summer festival season ends with Dimensions, giving the event a farewell-to-summer quality that adds emotional resonance to the music.
End of an Era
The Tisno festival ecosystem that grew up around The Garden Festival — including Dimensions, Defected Croatia, Outlook Origins, and others — has been one of the most significant developments in European boutique festival culture of the past 15 years. Dimensions represents some of the best of what that ecosystem produced: serious music, extraordinary location, and a community built on shared musical values rather than commercial entertainment.

Getting There: Tisno is 80km north of Split. Bus to Šibenik, then taxi/shuttle to Tisno. Free shuttle from Tisno village to The Garden Resort. Fly to Split or Zadar.

Tips: The acoustic stage is the festival's heart — save energy for it (typically starts around 2am). Boat party tickets are essential and sell out fast. Late August evenings are cooler — bring a light jacket. Combine with Dekmantel Selectors the previous week.
