Located at the northern tip of Rab Island, Lopar is home to the finest collection of sandy beaches in the Kvarner region — most famously Rajska plaža (Paradise Beach), a 1.8 km arc of fine sand that is exceptionally rare on the Croatian coast. The Lopar peninsula has over 22 beaches in total, ranging from naturist bays to family-friendly shallows, all within a protected nature landscape.
