Hideout Festival 2026 – Electronic Music at Zrce Beach, Novalja | Croatia

Hideout Festival 2026 at Zrce Beach, Novalja — Croatia's premier dance music festival with world-class DJs on the Adriatic. June 30 – July 3. Tickets, line-up and travel guide.

Hideout Festival is one of the most celebrated and influential dance music festivals in Europe — a four-day event held at the iconic Zrce Beach on the island of Pag (reached via Novalja) that has earned a reputation over 15 years as the destination event for house and techno fans who want world-class music in an exceptional natural setting. Founded in 2011, the festival has consistently delivered headline bookings at the level of Carl Cox, Bicep, Seth Troxler, Four Tet, Jamie Jones, and Tale Of Us — and the open-air beach setting, with DJ sets continuing from daytime into the following morning, creates an experience that rivals anything available on the global festival calendar.

Zrce Beach: The Setting

Zrce Beach is one of the most remarkable beach-festival environments in the world — a long pebble beach on the windswept northwest coast of Pag island, backed by pale karst limestone cliffs and facing the deep blue of the northern Adriatic. The open-air clubs that line the beach — Papaya, Aquarius, Noa, and Kalypso — transform completely during Hideout, with festival stages added to their existing infrastructure and boat party experiences added offshore. The combination of sea swimming between sets, dramatic cliff scenery, and music that continues around the clock creates an immersive few days that regular festival-goers consistently describe as among the best of their festival-going lives.

Programme

Hideout's programme spans house, techno, and everything in between — from the warmly melodic deep house end of the spectrum to harder, more industrial sounds, with genuine range on offer across the Zrce club venues and the main boat party programme. The festival has deliberately maintained a focus on quality over quantity, resisting the temptation to book the most commercial names in favour of artists who are respected by serious electronic music audiences.

Pag Island & Novalja

Novalja and Zrce Beach are reached by ferry from Zadar (1 hour) or from the mainland at Prizna (20 minutes). The island of Pag itself is a dramatic, almost moonscape limestone wilderness — the Pag lace-making tradition is UNESCO heritage, and the local Paški sir (Pag cheese, made from sheep's milk flavoured by the salt-wind scrubland) is one of Croatia's finest food products. For another major Zrce event, Fresh Island Festival follows in mid-July, and Barrakud Festival and Sonus Festival continue the Novalja electronic summer through August. The Kvarner region brings Rijeka and Opatija within day-trip distance.

Dates 2026: June 30 – July 3, Zrce Beach, Novalja, Pag Island.

Tickets: 4-day passes from €170–250 general; VIP options from €350+. Boat party add-ons sold separately. Book early — typically sells out 2–3 months before.

Getting There: Ferry from Zadar to Novalja (1 hr) or from Prizna on the mainland (20 min car ferry). Organised coaches from major European cities. Driving and parking on site. Fly to Zadar airport (closest), then ferry.

Accommodation: On-site camping at Zrce; hotels and apartments in Novalja (2km). Book 3–4 months ahead for July dates.

Tips: Boat party tickets are limited and sell out fast — prioritise. Zrce is very exposed in July — sunscreen, hat, and plenty of water are essential. Stay hydrated. The sea swim between sets is one of the festival's great pleasures.
